Hi-Desert Sound Basswood Turntable Record Mat

Similar to our Agave Turntable Mats, the Hi-Desert Sound Basswood mat (3mm thick) helps to lessen and dampen vibrations and provides a dynamic improvement to the sound quality of your vinyl record player’s sound system.  

Basswood, sometimes used in Guitar manufacturing, is an acoustic grade softwood known to carry a warm tone and strengthen the mid-range.

The Basswood Mat is also designed to be just shy of a record’s 12” inch diameter so that the record will hang over just slightly. 

Please Note: Due to changes in humidity, barometric pressure, temperature, and altitude, slight warping is considered normal with all mats manufactured in natural wooden material, so it is recommended to use a record clamp with this mat.
